Alpine & telemark skiing

Whether you are a complete novice skier or looking to refine, develop or expand your skills, at adventurelifelinks we offer a personal touch to help plan your experience to the Allgau. We provide English speaking BASI qualified instructors specifically for you, to ensure your tuition is tailored appropriately.

Be it Alpine, Telemark, cross-country (nordic) or snowboarding, the many resorts in the area lend themselves perfectly to ensure your skills and understanding will grow to ensure full enjoyment of your new found skills.

TELEMARK SKI INSTRUCTION - NEW FOR 2011

If you already ski why not transfer your Alpine ski skills to Telemarking. A fast growing classic discipline, which is much loved by all those who free the heel (and mind!), we can organise the latest top quality equipment for you to develop a style on the slopes that is graceful and guaranteed to turn heads.

Snowshoeing

Snowshoeing is a wonderful activity allowing everyone to partake with minimal time under instruction. We will take to the quiet trails along valleys, and immerse ourselves fully in what winter offers. An International Mountain Leader will guide you through a peaceful world where numbers of people dwindle and nature takes over.

Snowlife weeks are tailor made to your requirements, therefore please contact us with group/personal details, your wishes and any questions. We will endeavour to advise you appropriately and arrange a package that suits.

Location / Local Resorts

The Allgau has many resorts dotted around the area, however Oberjoch (1100m-1700m) is our preferred resort for beginner and intermediate skiers/boarders. On offer here are some 32kms of pisted runs and countless off-piste areas. Nordic skiing is also catered for with miles of runs along the Tannhiem valley.

The winter Olympic town of Obersdorf, famous for it’s ski jumping and Nordic runs also offers Alpine resorts, the Nebelhorn (2300m), and Fellhorn (2000m) sharing the border with Austria making this the largest resort in Germany.
